Marine Alutech and the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command sign agreement for the delivery of 18 new Watercat M12 vessels.

The Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command and Marine Alutech Oy Ab have signed an agreement under which 18 Next-generation Watercat M12 Jurmo-class troop transport boats will be delivered to the Finnish Navy.

The Next-generation Jurmo-class will increase and safeguard the ability of the Finnish Navy’s coastal troops to move in the archipelago. The key tasks of the Jurmo-class boats include transport and maintenance missions for Finnish Navy units operating in the archipelago. Deliveries of the new boats will begin during 2027.
