Watercat M18 AMC
The vessel developed by Marine Alutech is the Watercat M18 armoured modular craft (AMC). This AMC is designed to fulfil all modern requirements for future combat support vessels.
Marine Alutech delivered 12 Watercat M18 AMC multipurpose high-speed landing crafts to the Finnish Navy. The vessel is powered by two 660 kW Scania diesel engines and features Rolls-Royce waterjet propulsion.
The Watercat M18 AMC is suitable for:
- troop transport
- medivac
- evacuation
- landing ops
- patrolling and escort
- combat support
The vessel is specially designed for archipelagic, coastal and offshore conditions with an effective heating and air-conditioning system allowing heat and extreme cold, arid or humid climates.
